Purpose:
To assist a 2009 graduating local area senior who has made an exceptional effort through school or community activities

Eligibility:
• Preference to a 2009 graduate from Lake Park High School
• Must reside in Community College District 502
• Must be a full-time student (12 credit hours per semester) and maintain a 3.0 GPA while attending C.O.D.
• Must provide an official high school transcript
• Must show evidence of exceptional effort given or achievement attained through school or community related activities
• Must include a one page written recommendation by appropriate person from the high school or community organization
• File a 2009-2010 FAFSA. C.O.D. must receive information electronically by deadline date.
• Total family income must fall within HUD guidelines for low or moderate income (below $54,240 family income)

Terms:
• Applicable toward tuition, fees and books beginning Fall Semester 2009
