Michael Browning Memorial Scholarship (G266)

Source of Support:
The West Chicago Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #85 with the support of generous businesses and residents of West Chicago.

Award Amount:
1 @ $500 for Fall Semester
1 @ $500 for Spring Semester

Deadline:
May 1, 2009 for Fall Semester
November 1, 2009 for Spring Semester

Purpose:
To support a student pursuing a career in law enforcement or criminal justice at College of DuPage, and to honor the memory of West Chicago Police Officer Michael A. Browning who was killed in the line of duty on April 20, 1992.

Eligibility:
• Must be full or part-time student
• Must be pursuing a certificate or degree program
• Must maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA
• Preference given to a student who graduated from West Chicago Community High School
• Preference given to a student with financial need

Terms:
• To be used for tuition, fees and books
