of actor and comedian John Belushi and Second City, Chicago-based comedic
theatre group
Award Amount:
1 year tuition, fees and books
Deadline:
May 1, 2008
Purpose:
To support an acting or technical theatre student with full
tuition, fees and books for one year
Eligibility
• Must be a high school graduate and resident of District 502
• May be a new or continuing student at COD
• File 08-09 FAFSA. COD must receive information electronically
by deadline date.
• Acting applicants should prepare a 1-2 minute monologue of contemporary
theatre, either comedic or dramatic
• Technical theatre applicants will interview with theatre faculty
at COD
• Must include two recommendations from an educator and/or employer
to be included with application
• Must have sufficient experience and background in the performing
arts or technical theatre to determine talent
• Must file an application with Financial Aid no later than May 1, 2008. If audition or personal interview is desired by selection committee,
you will be notified within two weeks
