Purpose:
In memory of Darrell Stremler, the founding CEO of DuPage Medical Group, this scholarship is established as the partnership component of the U.S. Department of Labor for a Community-Based Job Training Grant for the College of DuPage Licensed Practical Nursing Program.

Eligibility:
• Must be admitted to the LPN Program
• Resident of District 502
• Must include a one page written recommendation by an instructor, supervisor or appropriate person.
• One award given to a student who demonstrates financial need - must file 2008-2009 FAFSA and COD must receive by application date

Terms:
• To be used for tuition, fees and books at C.O.D.

A committee appointed by the Scholarship Coordinator in the Financial Aid Office, which will include on LPN instructor, will select students to receive awards.
