DuPage Women’s Soccer Team
(last modified 6/17/14)

Student/Athletes wishing to participate on the 2014 College of DuPage women’s soccer team need to complete the following tasks:

Step 1 - Complete the Intercollegiate Athletics Eligibilty Packet [IAEP]. These packets are available in the Athletic Office [PE-Building, Room121] or from any member of the coaching staff. Included in the packet are eligibility forms, an academic information sheet, and various medical forms. All forms must be completed and returned before a player can be declared eligible to play. Forms may be completed and handed in before training begins. Medical forms are available at the bottom of the college’s team page: www.cod.edu/athletics/ppe_packet.pdf

Step 2 - Have a physical examination by a licensed physician or nurse practioner. No athlete will be allowed to tryout unless they have proof of a physical (a physical form is attached to the IAEP). Physicals must be dated after July 1, 2014 to be valid.

Step 3 - Attend the pre-season meeting on Wednesday July 30th at 3:00pm. The meeting will be held in the PE Building, room 129. The purpose of this meeting is to handle the paperwork required to start competition.

Step 4 - Practice/tryouts begin on Wednesday August 6 and Friday August 8th at 3:00 pm. Starting August 11th we will train at 3:00 pm Monday - Friday. Players are required to bring soccer shoes, running shoes and shinguards. Water will be provided by the school. It can not be emphasized enough that players show up to the first practice physically fit for college soccer. During the school year practices will start at 3:00 pm, so schedule your classes accordingly. Practices rarely last longer than 2 hours.
