Chaparrals end home stand with loss

(8 Feb. 2014, Glen Ellyn) - COD fell just a little short and lost 70-77 to visiting Rock Valley. Darren Montgomery led the way for the chaparrals with 20 points and 3 assists. .KJ Weaver had 13 points 2 rebounds and 3 assists while Kendall Bailey added 10 points 3 rebounds and 3 assists. The Chaps fall to 9-16 (4-5).  


DuPage back to .500 in conference again

(5 Feb. 2014, Glen Ellyn) - COD played host to Wright College and won by a score of 69-55. KJ Weaver had 21 points and 3 assists for the Chaparrals while Max Besisi had 14 points 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Kendal Bailey had 8 points and Ryan Rader added 8 points and 10 rebounds. Chaparrals move to 9-15 on the season and 4-4 in N4C conference play.


Men fall to Joliet

(29 Jan. 2014, Glen Ellyn) - The Chaparrals hosted Joliet and lost by a score of 69-77. Jonny Woolf led the way for COD with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Paris Dunlap had 13 points and 6 rebounds for the Chaparrals while Melvin Meeks added 11 points and 4 rebounds. COD is now 8-15 (3-4) on the season.


DuPage even conference mark

(25 Jan. 2014, Glen Ellyn) - COD hosted Madison and came away with a 62-45 victory. Jonny Woolf led the way with 13 points and 4 rebounds. Darren Montgomery also had 13 points while Paris Dunlap added 10 points and 5 rebounds. With the victory the Chaparrals are now 8–14 (3-3) on the season.


Chaps win a Triton

(22 Jan. 2014, River Grove) - COD traveled to Triton and came away with a 63-52 victory. Paris Dunlap led the way with 14 points and 7 rebounds. KJ Weaver had 14 points and 4 rebounds while Darren Montgomery added 11 points and 7 rebounds. The Chaparrals move to 7-14 (2-3).


Men drop second straight N4C clash

(18 Jan. 2014, Glen Ellyn) - COD played host to Harper College and fell just short in a hard fought game, losing 71-73. Paris Dunlap led the way for COD with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Kendall Bailey and Darren Montgomery both had 12 points while Jonny Woolf added 10 points and 4 rebounds. The Chaparrals are now 6-14 (1-3) on the season.


DuPage rocked in Rockford

(15 Jan. 2014, Rockford) - COD visited Rock Valley and lost 88-47. Darren Montgomery had 11 points for the Chaparrals. KJ Weaver and Chris Stewart both had 8 points and Max Besisi added 7 points and 8 rebounds. The Chaparrals fall to 6-13 overall and 1-2 in the N4C.

 


Men even their conference mark

(11 Jan. 2014, Chicago) - COD traveled to Wright College Saturday and left with a victory, beating Wright 65-58. KJ Weaver led the chaparral's in scoring with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Darren Montgomery had 13 points and 4 assists while Max Besisi added 12 points and 8 rebounds. The Chaparrals are now 6-12 (1-1) on the season.


Hoopsters open conference with loss

(8 Jan. 2014, Milwaukee, WI) - The Chaparrals traveled north and lost to host Milwaukee Tech 46-59. Darren Montgomery led the scoring for COD with 15 points and 4 rebounds. Ryan Rader had 10 points and 4 rebounds while Max Besisi added 8 points and 8 rebounds. COD is now 5-12 on the season.


Men christen renovated PE Building with win

(4 Jan. 2014, Glen Ellyn) - The Chaparrals began the New Year with a home win, beating Lake County 75-70. Ryan Rader led the scoring for COD with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Kendall Bailey had 16 points and 5 rebounds while KJ Weaver added 15 points and 7 rebounds. COD is now 5-11 on the season.


DuPage woes continue

(14 Dec. 2013, Chicago) - The Chaparrals visited Olive Harvey College Saturday afternoon and lost 68-80. Ryan Rader led the scoring for COD with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Paris Dunlap had 16 points and 6 rebounds while Kendall Bailey added 10 points for the Chaparrals. COD is now 3-11 on the season.


Men drop fifth straight

(12 Dec. 2013, Chicago) - COD traveled to Daley College and despite some great effort lost to the bulldogs by a score of 60–69. K J Weaver led the scoring for COD with 19 points. Ira Crawford had 11 points and 5 rebounds and Jonny Woolf added 9 points and 5 rebounds. The Chaparrals fall to 3-10 for the season.


Chaps lose tournament opener

(6 Dec. 2013, Lisle) - COD lost to Elmhurst in the first round of their tournament Friday night 88–68. Max Besisi had 15 points and Jonny Woolf added 12 points 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the chaparrals. COD will face Sauk Valley Saturday at 5pm at the Walker Center. COD falls to 4–7 for the season.


Chaps fall to Benedictine JV

(4 Dec. 2013, Lisle) - The Chaparrals lost to host Benedictine 95–51. Kendall Bailey had 14 points and Ryan Rader added 13 points and 9 rebounds for the chaparrals. COD is now 4–6 on the season and their next game is Friday night against Elmhurst at the Walker Center in Lisle.


Chaps drop one to Moraine

(26 Nov. 2013, Palos Hills) - The Chaparrals traveled to Moraine Valley Tuesday night and lost 74-64. Ryan Rader led the chaparrals scoring efforts with 12 points and 12 rebounds. COD is now 3-6 on the season and their next game, after a Thanksgiving break, is set for December 4th at Benedictine University.


DuPage wins second straight

(23 Nov. 2013, Lisle) - COD hosted Prairie State Saturday night at the Walker Center. The Chaparrals overcame a 10 point deficit to win 69 -68. Ira Crawford led the scoring with 22 points. Paris Dunlap had 11 points and Max Besisi added 10 points for the chaparrals. COD is now 3 -5 on the season. They travel to Moraine Valley Tuesday night for their next game.


Chaparrals bounce back versus Truman

(22 Nov. 2013, Chicago) - COD traveled to Truman Friday night and came away with the victory winning 84-64. Jonny Woolf led the scoring for the chaparrals with 23 points. Ryan Rader added 10 points and 10 rebounds. COD is now 2-5 on the season and next host Prairie State Saturday night.


DuPage fall to Waubonsee

(19 Nov. 2013, Sugar Grove) - The Chaparrals came up short Tuesday night as they traveled to Waubonsee and lost 70-50. Ryan Rader had 12 points and 12 rebounds for COD. The Chaparrals are now 1-5 this season. COD travels to Truman Friday night for their next game before returning to the Walker Athletic Center on Saturday night for their next home game.


DuPage drops to 1-4

(16 Nov. 2013, Lisle) - The Chaparrals lost an exciting and hard fought game Saturday night to Morton by a score of 72-62. COD battled back from a 14 point deficit to take the lead in the second half only to come up a little short. Ira Crawford lead the way for COD with 25 points. Melvin Meeks had 15 points and Ryan rader added 14 points to round out the scoring leaders for the Chaparrals. COD is 1-4 for the season and their next game is Tuesday night Nov. 19th when they travel to Waubonsee.


Chap losing streak hits 3

(12 Nov. 2013, Elgin) - The chaparrals traveled to Elgin and faced Elgin Community College Tuesday evening. Despite an exciting and close game the chaparrals came up short losing 86-81 to Elgin. Ryan Rader lead the way for the chaparral’s with 25 points and 16 rebounds. The Chaparral's are now 1-3 overall. Their next game is Saturday Nov. 16th when they host Morton at 7:00pm at the Walker Athletic Center in Lisle.


Chaparrals drop 2nd in a row

(9 Nov. 2013, Des Plaines) - COD men's basketball traveled to Oakton Community College Saturday afternoon. Despite their great effort and determination COD fell short and lost to Oakton 71 to 61. Leading the way for COD was Denzel Washington with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Ryan Radar added 10 points and 8 rebounds for COD. The Chaparrals are now 1-2 on the season. The next game is Tuesday night at Elgin.


Chaparrals fall to Kishwaukee

(7 Nov. 2013, Lisle) - COD men's basketball hosted Kishwaukee college Thursday evening at the Walker Athletic Center in Lisle. The game got off to a fast and exciting start but in the end Kishwaukee defeated host DuPage by a score of 87 to 61. Leading the way for DuPage was Crawford with 11 points and Besisi with 10 points. Rader added 10 points for DuPage to round out the top three scorers for the night. DuPage is now 1-1 and next play away Saturday Nov. 9th vs. Oakton.


Chaparrals open season with win

(2 Nov. 2013, Lisle) - COD men's basketball got off to a great start on Saturday with a 75-63 victory over McHenry County College. Woolf led the way for COD with 18 points while Washington added 14 points and Weaver posted 11 points. There were a host of other players who added points and contributed to the win. COD is now 1-0 and their next game is Thursday night vs Kishwaukee at the Walker Athletic Center in Lisle.
