Introduction to Field Methods and Research Design
5 credit hours
Provides an overview of the major methods of field work and research design in anthropology and related social and behavioral sciences. Students analyze one or more topics using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methodological technique. Some field work may be required, especially if this course is part of a cultural field school. Check the anthropology lab and the Quarterly for the time and location of cultural field schools.
