How I plan to assist students at C.O.D.: I will make sure the students are heard in matters important to our school, while responsibly planning all projects to ensure economic efficiency and the benefit of the students.
Interesting piece of info about myself: I speak both English and Hindi fluently.

I grew up in Hanover Park and moved to Naperville six years ago. I went to Waubonsie Valley High School and graduated a year early in 2008. I plan on transferring to a four year university to major in Accounting and hopefully become a CPA. One of my ambitions in life is to volunteer for The World Bank so that I can use my finance skills to improve the standard of living for the unfortunate.

Description of Position:
The Student Body Vice President's job is to serve as leader of Student Leadership Council in the absence of the Student Body President, assist the Student Body President with the preparation of SLC agendas, and attend SLC member meetings and officer meetings. The VP also attends the College Leadership Council meetings as the student body representative and attends the Board of Trustee Meetings with the Student Body President. The VP is also the one who appoints the student representatives for the College Wide Committees, like Traffic Appeals and Student Activities Fund Advisory, to help improve the student life on campus by speaking out the opinions and concerns of the students to the committees for assessment.

This officer is the chief caretaker of all financial transactions from request through completion of appropriate forms for the SLC, and serves as the S.A.F.A.C. representative for the organization. This Coordinator chairs the Finance Board of SLC to make, review and analyze decisions that deal with SLC funds. In addition, the Coordinator of Finance is responsible for preparing the budget for the next fiscal year, and keeping clear and concise records of monthly expenditures. Finally, the Coordinator of Finance assists with SLC-sponsored projects by managing the financial aspects.
