Some of the many services and resources provided by
the Student Activities include the following:
On Campus Child Care Services at College
of DuPage
The college has found it necessary to eliminate the On Campus Child Care
Services for Students program as of the end of Spring semester 2007.
Child care is offered at the Carol Stream Community
Education Center. However, you must attend classes at Carol Stream. Children
are accepted from ages 3 to 12 with proper paper work. Please call the
center for more information. (630) 942-4888.
Funding for the On Campus Child Care Services for Students has been provided
through the Student Activities Fund for over 30 years. As all resources
of the college have declined in the past few years, we have had to look
closely at the viability of all programs.
The numbers of students utilizing this opportunity has decreased over
the last several years and costs to provide the service had steadily risen.
Until we can find additional funds to offset the cost per student subsidy
for this program, we have had to make the difficult decision to suspend
the service.
Students or prospective students who are in need of On Campus Child Care
Services for Students age 3 to 5 while they attend classes are asked to
submit information so that we can determine the need for this service.
Please complete this Child Care Information
Form. Each submission will receive a response within one week verifying
receipt of the information. Thank you for providing us with data that
will help us to make a more informed decision about this service to College
of DuPage students.
Voter Registration
You may download a registration form in either English or Spanish.
Complete and mail the form to the election authority for the jurisdiction
in which you live.

Student Photo IDs
Students enrolled in more than one class at College of DuPage can obtain
a photo ID card at the main office of the Physical
Education building during regular business hours (Monday through Friday
8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. to noon). There is a
$5 charge for the card, which is valid for three years. However, students
enrolled in six or more hours at the college can also choose to purchase
a P.E. pass for $10, which provides access for one term to all Recreation
Center facilities (except the Aerobic Fitness Lab).
The college’s photo ID’s are both convenient
and versatile—the same card can be used at the library, as a P.E.
pass and as “student identification” for various local discounts
at movies, sports events and other activities. For more information, call
the Physical
Education office at (630) 942-2364.
Student Lounges
Student Lounges, located through the campus buildings, give students
a variety of places to gather, study and socialize. The Student Activities
staff manages and updates these lounges periodically. A TV lounge is located
on the first floor of the Student Resource Center (SRC).
