Student Newspaper
A weekly student newspaper with a circulation of 7,000, the Courier is
a perennial winner in publication contests and offers students paid, on-the-job
experience in writing, editing, photography, graphics and layout. Students
may also enroll in Journalism 1110 for credit.

A tri-Class Schedule student newspaper with a circulation of 7,000, Chaparral
is a themed publication with issues on travel, family traditions and careers.
Staff members must enroll in Journalism 1115, a one-credit flexible format
class. It is written and edited by students.

This humanities magazine is published twice yearly, accepting submissions
in poetry, fiction, non-fiction, photography and art from students, faculty
and residents of the district.

College Orientation Maps Plans Activities Studying Success
Published by Student Affairs, C.O.M.P.A.S.S. gives students, both new
and returning, a reference guide to better familiarize themselves with
the college. The guide provides a brief overview of the buildings on campus,
many of the services that are provided to the students and general college
survival tips.
