The enrollment history of the Fall Quarter credit, non-credit, and total students since 1986 are presented in the table below. In addition, the full-time equivalent students (FTES) are indicated. The percent-of-change from the previous year is included for each category. The credit headcount of 29,698 declined slightly by 0.6 percent from last year's credit headcount of 29,888. The non-credit headcount of 4,694 dramatically increased by 16.4 percent from the previous year's enrollment of 4,032 students. Total headcount enjoyed a 1.4 percent increase over the previous year, while the FTES mirrored the credit headcount with a slight decrease of 0.6 percent.
