Counseling and Advising Services This link provides you with an overview of the various counseling and advising services available to students who are seeking assistance with career or graduation planning and education- related decision making. You will also learn about the differences in roles between counselors and faculty advisers how to access services on campus in Glen Ellyn.

You can also meet with a counselor off-campus. These off-campus centers are in convenient neighborhood locations where you can seek career and educational planning, life transition and personal counseling with a professional counselor. Locations are in Westmont, Naperville, and Bloomingdale.  Here you will find the exact locations, phone numbers and specific support services provided.

Advising Tools are a collection of online resources to assist in program and course planning toward a degree or transfer.

Transfer Guides - For students planning to transfer course work to an Illinois four-year college. This valuable source provides a list by college of equivalent C.O.D. courses, transfer information and direct links to the four-year colleges homepages.

Advising and Transfer Center This Center, which is located on campus in Glen Ellyn is the primary source for transfer planning information, course equivalency charts, college catalogs, advising-related materials and most printed program planning materials. You can also arrange to meet with a general adviser or be referred to a faculty adviser in a particular academic program of study to advise you on course selection and planning. This website link will explain the services and hours of operation for this office.

Degree Requirements - This is a planning worksheet that outlines our Associate Degree Requirements at College of DuPage. In order to view the worksheet you will first need to download the Adobe Reader.

Testing Lab Services - Tests and exams for our independent study-based courses and pre-course tests are administered in the Assessment and Testing Lab in Glen Ellyn and at the three neighborhood Centers for Independent Learning. Hours of operation, location and phone number are referenced here.

Earning Credit By Demonstrated Competence If you think you may already be proficient in one or more of our credit courses at the college, learn how you can arrange to get college credit for what you may already know through the services of our Assessment and Testing Office.

Student and Academic Support Services at C.O.D. This is an index of on line links to a variety of C.O.D. services ranging from C.O.D.s Health Services Office to the academic support areas of writing and math assistance available at the college. The services of both the Writing Assistance Center and the Math Assistance Center on campus in Glen Ellyn are provided on a walk-in basis for students needing short term assistance. A table of direct e-mail links to these offices and their web pages has been created.

College of DuPage Library Access the many on line catalogs, indexes and databases made available by the college library. Learn about hours of operation, borrowing privileges, reference and circulation services, and the material collections. The library also provides for general access to the Internet for students and the community.

Financial Aid Services at C.O.D. Here you can access information which allows you to arrange for comprehensive Financial Aid services provided through state, federal and local sources of grants, loans and student work programs.

Career Services - A great resource to help devise an effective job-search strategy. Career Service specialists are on-hand to provide job search skills, resume critiquing, interviewing skills, and many other tips and ideas to successfully make the transition into a new job.

Records Office Services This office oversees all academic records. Here you will learn about degree audit services, management of grade reports, veterans federal benefits, and how to apply for graduation. You may download a Transcript Request Form to arrange for your academic transcript to be mailed to another college or employer.
