Getting Started

Admissions and Registration Services Here is where you may gather information pertaining to admission requirements at the college; learn how to register by touch tone phone, online, by assistance of an operator, by fax, by mail or in person; arrange for a campus tour; learn about tuition and fee costs and college policies in regard to tuition refunds, withdrawal from a class and a schedule of when you may register.The college now provides online registration services where returning students or new students who have received an acceptance letter and Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the Admissions office can register for classes, check on class availability and view their current schedule. Students can also add and drop classes from their existing schedule, view their grades and change their PIN/e-mail, even if they registered in a traditional manner. Students can also view their account balance and pay their fees through this system.

Review the college's online interactive class/course schedule called the "Class Schedule" for the current and upcoming academic term. Search classes by time, day, location, type of course delivery for both credit and non-credit courses., Shows current enrollment and seats available in a course section. Use the 5 digit section code to register.

Pre-Course Assessment and Testing Requirements - Here you will learn about the pre-course testing requirements in reading, writing and math skills which are designed to help students and advisors determine the proper course placement for beginning students. Students who have enrolled for six credit hours or more must take the Reading pre-course test, which measures reading comprehension. There are exceptions to this requirement that are explained. The English and Math pre-tests are for students beginning college level course work in those subject areas. You will find information about skills development courses for students needing to better prepare for college level course work listed below under Courses and Programs of Study.

Bookstore Services Hours of operation, services, location and phone are all referenced here. As a distance learner you have the option of ordering books and supplies by phone at (630) 942-3883 and having books and supplies shipped by UPS if you do not want to come in person to purchase your books. They also have a Bookstore website for ordering and purchasing Online.

Cashier Services and Tuition Payment Policies - Learn how you can pay by cash, personal check or credit card and about the payment deadlines that exist. Distance learners can register by phone and then simply call the cashiers office and pay by credit card over the phone. A deferred payment arrangement is available to qualified individuals. .
