COURSE DESCRIPTION
Continues to develop basic understanding of elements of French language: knowledge and skill in pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and elementary reading and writing. Oral presentations in dialogue form including role playing are a key part of the course. Prerequisite: French 2201 or equivalent or consent of instructor. 4 Credit Hours   

 

COURSE MATERIALS

1.      From COD home page, click on myACCESS.

2.      Click on Search for Credit Classes.

3.      From the Term drop-down box select the term.

4.      Choose your course from the Subjects drop-down menu.

5.      In the Course # field, enter your course number.

6.      In the Section field, enter the course section number if known.

7.      From the Course Types drop-down menu select Flexible Learning.

8.      Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on SUBMIT.

9.      Click on the Section Name and Title link.

10.  Click on Click here for prices of required textbook(s) and supplies and course material information will be displayed.

Imaginez DVD.  Students can watch streaming DVD online at Maestro Supersite. Access to supersite provided with new textbook purchase, or may be purchased separately through publisher.

 

ORIENTATION/ATTENDANCE
The student attends a 50-minute conversation session and works independently with the course materials to complete assignments due at each conversation session.  For questions outside the weekly conversation sessions, students can contact their instructor via voicemail, email or in person.

 

EVALUATION/GRADING
Five tests, five written assignments, two compositions, fifteen conversation sessions, one oral interview,  Maestro Supersite exercises
