COURSE DESCRIPTION

Principles of the law of agency, partnerships, corporations, wills, trusts, accounting law and liability bankruptcy, and real property are discussed and analyzed through the use of the Model Corporation Act, the Illinois Business Corporation Act, cases, and problems.  Emphasis is placed on the Uniform Commercial Code, including, negotiable instruments, holder in due course, credit, and secured transactions.  Prerequisite: Business Law 2211  3 Credit Hours
