If you can answer, “Yes,” to any of these questions,
then this online Children’s Literature Course is for you!
This course is an introduction to the meaningful connections between children’s literature, children as readers, and the role of reader response in literature-based instruction.
Online class sessions will focus on reading and responding to the characteristics of children’s literature and designing response-based activities for children to interact with the literature.
There are weekly assignments, which include reading the textbook and viewing the presentations about children’s literature, designing response-based activities, critically reviewing children’s books, designing projects, completing study guides, and responding to two essay tests.
