CIS 2725: Enterprise SQL Application
Relational database has been widely adopted by corporations. This course covers mainly Microsoft SQL Server which has the third largest market share worldwide after IBM DB2 and Oracle. Microsoft SQL Server is typically used for small to medium sized systems that run one or more Windows servers, such as hospitals, schools, banks, and enterprises.
Database administration and database development are two main tracks available in Microsoft SQL Server. This course mainly focuses on how to design a relational database application by using the features available from Microsoft SQL Server.
After completing this course, students will be able to create and maintain a database designed by using Microsoft SQL Server. It is expected that anyone who takes this course has access to a workable Microsoft SQL Server installed PC. A request to download an education version of such software is also available.
