Microsoft Word is one of the most popular software applications used in business and industry. Learn how to use the advanced features of Word, which will help you in your everyday life whether at home, in business, or helping your children with their projects! Word Processing II will certainly enhance your computer skills.

Learn many shortcuts, tips, and tricks while completing Chapters 12, 13, 15, 17, 18, 22-23, 25, and 27 of the textbook. Creating Fill-in Forms using Word will also be covered. The same textbook is used for both Word Processing I and Word Processing II courses. You will be taking quizzes and tests using the Blackboard course management software via the Internet. Snap software will be accessed through an Internet site for assessments and additional training. All homework assignments will be submitted as e-mail attachments.

Prerequisite: Office Technology Information 1210.

Necessary Equipment

In addition to the textbook, you will need to use a computer on which you have Microsoft Word 2013, Internet access, and a CD-ROM installed. You must have an e-mail account and be able to send an e-mail attachment.
