Basic concepts in telecommunication electronics and circuits. Fundamentals of analog communications, such as amplitude modulation (AM), frequency modulation (FM), television and radio fundamentals, troubleshooting and use of test equipment. Hands-on experience, practical applications and projects. Teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving are emphasized.

Prerequisites

Electronics Technology 1151 or equivalent, or consent of instructor.
