NURSING 1104:
Introduction to Physical Assessment
This course covers theory and skills related to history taking and physical assessment of the adult patient. Significant assessment differences in the pediatric patient are discussed. (1 credit hour)
Who should enroll for the class?
- This class is offered exclusively to students who have been accepted to the Associate Degree Nursing Program
- Concurrent enrollment in Nursing 1105
- Students enrolled in the ADN program who are highly motivated and can work independently.
- Students who have passed Nursing 1100 with a grade of "C" or better.
- Students who have access to a computer and may have taken on-line courses.
Who should NOT enroll for the class?
- Students-at-large who have NOT been accepted to the Associate Degree Nursing Program.
Should I Take Nursing 1104 Online?
Experience indicates that students most successful in an online version of a course are students who work with computers on a regular basis and are comfortable with online interaction.
