Mathematics for Health Sciences
|
This 3 credit hour course is specifically designed for nursing and other
health science majors. Topics include systems of measurements, use of
formulas, dimensional analysis, percents, decimals, fractions, ratio and
proportion, direct and inverse variation, solutions, dosage calculations
and introductory statistics.
Prerequisites:
- Math 0481 with a grade of C or better, OR
- a grade of C or better in a complete course in elementary algebra,
OR
- a qualifying score on the mathematics placement test.
ONLY health science students who have met the prerequisite should register
for this course. If you have any questions about this being the correct
