Earth Science 1141 is a non-laboratory introduction to the natural processes shaping the planet we share. This course is intended for non-science majors seeking to satisfy the physical science general education requirement for an Associates or Bachelors degree.
The goal of the course is to provide students a fundamental understanding of the dynamic systems of Earth’s interior and surface, oceans, atmosphere, and astronomical surroundings.

Math 0481 (or college equivalent) with a grade of C or better, or qualifying score on the mathematics placement test or a qualifying A.C.T. math score.It is suggested that students access each area in COD Online, prior to registration, to see if online learning is for them.
