Looking for registration assistance? Meet with a Counselor

We are here to support you in reaching your educational goals and career aspirations. Your success is our priority.

The Counseling and Advising office at College of DuPage provides new and current students and members of the community with personalized service and comprehensive resources designed to ensure student success in all phases of academic, career and personal development. On this page, you will find links to offerings including advising tools, career and academic major exploration, counseling and advising contact and scheduling information, workshops and much more. We suggest that all new students schedule an appointment with a counselor before registering for classes.

  • Review general education, degree and certificate requirements, including the transferability of courses;
  • Establish a Student Educational Plan for achieving your educational goals;
  • Develop success strategies for academic success;
  • Support your career exploration and decision-making process; and
  • Discuss personal concerns that may be interfering with your educational or career success.

Students may receive assistance in the following ways:

  • Schedule a session at the Glen Ellyn Campus by calling (630) 942-2259.
  • Students may contact a counselor via email.
  • Schedule an appointment with a counselor at a COD Center by contacting the off-campus location directly.
