Older Adult Institute Classes

These credit and non-credit classes are designed for but not limited to adults 55 years and older. Summer 2008 term starts Tuesday, May 27, 2008, and ends Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008. Classes do not meet on Friday, July 4 (Independence Day). Credit classes are $108 per credit hour, $54 for those 65 years and older. The $54 senior fee applies to residents of Community College District 502. Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice.

Explore the fine arts culture of Chicago through lectures and field experiences on alternating weeks. Trips include performances of Tosca at C.O.D., Jersey Boys, The Boys are Coming Home, Pritzker Pavillion concert at Millennium Park, Chicago Symphony Orchestra concert at Ravinia Festival, Speratus Museum, Tribune Freedom Museum, Skokie Sculpture Walk and Dame Myra Hess concert at the Chicago Cultural Center.
