	Food and Beverage Summer 2008 Bartending—Bartending Certification BARTENDING CERTIFICATION. Acquire the skills necessary for full- or part-time employment as a professional bartender. BASSET training is an alcohol intervention program designed to promote the responsible selling and serving of alcoholic beverages. Review the importance of serving safe food. Develop standard sanitation operating procedures and examine controls for food-borne illnesses. Meets requirements for food safety recertification.
