CIT Academic Programs

Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree
The Computer and Internetworking Technologies (CIT) program at College of DuPage offers an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree that provides students with broad exposure to electronic fundamentals with specialty training in the servicing and maintenance of digital microprocessor-based equipment. Upon completion of the degree program, students will possess the skills and educational background needed by electronic professionals employed in various microprocessor and computer-related fields.

Certificate Programs
The CIT program also offers eight certificates, including Cisco Firewall Specialist, Microcomputer Servicing Technician, Network Professional (Cisco CCNP), Computer and Internetworking Technologies, Internetworking Technician (Cisco CCNA), System Support Specialist, Computer Forensics, and Intrusion Prevention Systems Specialist (IPS). These targeted programs range in length from 12 to 44 credit hours. Most students enroll in these programs to improve their on-the-job credentials, retrain for a new career in technology or increase their salability in the job market.
