FAQs
What is your class size and teacher-student ratio?
In our part-time preschool groups, class size is a maximum of 20 children with one degreed teacher for every 10 children. College students enrolled in the Early Childhood Education and Care program may provide additional support as they participate in the classrooms under certified teacher supervision.

What are your teachers’ credentials?
All teachers in our program are experienced and degreed in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.

What types of activities will my child participate in?
The part-time preschool schedule provides time for teacher-planned and child-initiated activities in the areas of art, dramatic play, music, books, manipulatives, blocks, science, sensory experiences and physical activities. At gathering time, children are encouraged to join the group for songs, finger-plays and stories. Physical activity is provided daily in the Outdoor Learning Center and indoor large motor area. Walking field trips may be planned to places of interest on the C.O.D. campus.
