Hours and Days
Open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays to Fridays. This is a year-round
program.
Eligibility
Children between the ages of 15 months and 5 years (pre-kindergarten) are eligible
to enroll. Children whose siblings are enrolled in the Center, and children
of College of DuPage employees, have priority in enrollment.
Tuition
Tuition is $264 per week for 2- to 5-year-olds and $294 per week for toddlers. There is a $75 registration fee as well as
a security deposit equal to two weeks of tuition due at the time of
enrollment.
Registration
Registration is open year-round, subject to availability. There may
be a wait list if there are more applicants than spaces in the program.

Do I have to enroll my child for five full days per week in the full-time
preschool program?
Yes, to participate in the full-time program, a student must be enrolled
for five full days.
What is your class size and teacher-student ratio?
For our full-time preschool programs, class size and teacher-student ratio vary by age group.
Toddlers (15 to 30 months)
•Maximum of 10 children
•One degreed teacher for every five toddlers
Ages 2 ½ to 3 ½
•Maximum of 16 children
•One degreed teacher for every eight children
Ages 3 ½ to 5
•Maximum of 20 children
•One degreed teacher for every 10 children
College students enrolled in the Early Childhood Education and Care program may provide additional support as they participate in the classrooms under lead teacher supervision.
What meals and snacks are provided for the children in the full-time
program?
Meals are served family style with a hot lunch cooked on premises. A breakfast supplement is served before
8 a.m., and healthy snacks are also served mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
What are your teachers’ credentials?
All teachers in our program are experienced and degreed in Early Childhood
Education or Child Development.
What types of activities will my child participate in?
The full-time schedule provides time for teacher-planned and
child-initiated activities in the areas of art, dramatic play, music,
books, manipulatives, blocks, science, sensory experiences and physical
activities. At gathering time, children are encouraged to join the group
for songs, finger-plays and stories. Physical activity is provided daily
in the Outdoor Learning Center and indoor large motor area. Preschoolers periodically participate in walking field trips to
places of interest on the C.O.D. campus. The daily schedule also includes
a nap time.
