Child Care Services for Students at College of DuPage
The college has found it necessary to eliminate the Child Care Services
for Students program as of the end of Spring semester 2007.
Funding for this service has been provided through the Student Activities
Fund for over 30 years. As all resources of the college have declined
in the past few years, we have had to look closely at the viability
of all programs.
The numbers of students utilizing this opportunity has decreased over
the last several years and costs to provide the service had steadily
risen. Until we can find additional funds to offset the cost per student
subsidy for this program, we have had to make the difficult decision
to suspend the service.
Students who have made inquiries about the service for Fall semester
2007 will be contacted the Director of Student Activities by mid-July
about any alternatives possibilities that can be offered through the
college.
