for those engaged in advising. Included in this online handbook are advising
guidelines, academic policies and procedures and sources for referral.

course equivalencies, and see how courses that you have taken or plan
to take trasfer to another college or university.
Review
a description and prerequisite requirements for all courses offered by
the college, listed by subject area.
The
Class Schedule is an interactive schedule of classes. Search for an open
class by curriculum, course number, location, instructor, days, times,
sessions, or start date.
DARWIN
is an online degree audit report of a student’s progress toward
a specific degree or certificate, including degree requirements satisfied,
outstanding requirements, and lists of courses that will fulfill outstanding
requirements.
This
online resource will guide you through the easy process of finding contact
information for full and part-time faculty members. This site also allows
you to find the same information for all staff employees at the College
of DuPage.
Occupational
Program Information Sheets detail the first term course possibilities
as well as courses that must be completed as program requirements, program
electives, and general education course selection recommendations from
faculty to students pursing Associate in Applied Science degrees and/or
Certificate programs. These programs are intended to provide the technical
courses needed to enter a field of employment or to upgrade current skills.
Site
provides an overview of all the College’s programs of study that
lead to a degree or certification upon completion. Displays program/career
descriptions, general education and program course requirements, a suggested
group of beginning courses, and faculty advisers contact information.
College
of DuPage converted its academic calendar from quarters to semesters in
August 2005. This handbook contains information on policies and procedures
along with a “Quarters to Semesters Course Equivalency Chart.”
Transition Worksheets are also available on this site.
Student
Planning Worksheets are planning tools that outline the specific general
education and degree requirements for the various associate degrees at
College of DuPage.
Transfer
Guides— a direct link to the College of DuPage Transfer Resource
Center. This site contains the “Illinois College Transfer Guides”
along with other transfer information.
Transfer
Program Information Sheets detail the first term course possibilities
and general education course selection recommendation from faculty to
students intending to transfer to baccalaureate-granting institutions
in order to complete a baccalaureate degree in a wide variety of fields.
Students
can register for COD courses on-line with their social security number
and PIN.
This
is the first unit of three sequential units designed to provide a foundation
of knowledge about the COD advising system.
The
second of the three advising units integrates advising knowledge and competencies
and builds on the foundation laid in the first unit.
This unit enables a student to make smooth integration of general education
and major coursework.
These
sites provide detailed occupational information including salary, job
outlook, skills required, etc for hundreds of occupations. Other sites
allow searches for detailed information on colleges and universities by
relevant criteria including major or program of study.
This
third and last unit in the advising system provides students with information
about successfully completing their College of Dupage academic program.
This unit also assists students with career and college transfer transition.
The
Advising Reference Index was developed to assist advisers and students
in addressing common questions regarding services, procedures, and policies.
