From the master-of-science fiction come two thought-provoking and bone-chilling one-acts. In Pillar of Fire, a dead man escapes his grave to discover that Earth has done away with its natural order and has instead converted completely to scientific reasoning, void of any artistic form. In The Foghorn, a lighthouse operator and another man are disrupted by the arrival of a mystery from the sea, lured by the call of the horn.

MAC Courtyard (Studio Theatre, Rainstage)
Back by popular demand, this show continues College Theater’s tradition of family theatrical fare in the pleasant Arts Center Courtyard. Scripted through improvisation and interweaving the characters from both of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, such as the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, Alice and more, the final production looks at what might have happened in both Wonderland and Alice’s world BEFORE she went on her adventures, ultimately helping us learn the lessons of community, patience and tolerance. Bring your picnic baskets, blankets or lawn chairs, and join us for some interactive fun. You may then want to see the full version of Alice in Wonderland (see below), which College Theater is producing in repertory with this production.
