Pre-Architecture Recommended First Semester Classes

This schedule assumes full-time enrollment and a fall start. If you are working 20 or more hours per week it is recommended that you take less hours. Contact an architectural adviser for course selections if you will be part-time or starting in spring or summer.

Arch 1100: Introduction to Architecture – 3 credits
Arch 1121: Architectural Design Communication – 4 credits
English 1101: English Composition I – 3 credits (requires placement test)
Math: level varies– 3-5 credits (requires placement test)
Arch 1101: Basic Architectural Drafting – 2 credits
(may be taken in summer or spring)

Total: 15-17 credits
