Employment Possibilities
To become an architect, you must complete a professional degree, either a five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree or a Master of Architecture degree, complete an internship, usually two to three years and then pass the Architectural Registration Exam (A.R.E.).

Architects work in offices ranging from two to three to several hundred employees.  Most projects require you to work on a team with other professionals in architecture and related fields. Architectural projects involve deadlines, which often require intense periods of work with long hours.
