Look at Your Interests
During this three-hour workshop College of DuPage counselors will administer
and interpret the newly revised Strong Interest Inventory, a widely
recognized inventory that measures your likes and dislikes and compares
your interests with people employed in various occupations. The information
can help you identify general areas of career interests as well as
activities and occupations that you might want to explore. Sessions
are held in the Student resource Center (SRC), Room 3017 in the College
of DuPage Library.

Look at Your Personality
During this two-hour workshop College of DuPage counselors will administer
and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), one of the
most respected and widely used personality assessments. Learn about
your own personality type and how you relate to others. Discover
the career fields that are best suited to your personal style and
increase awareness of your individual strengths. Sessions are held
in the Student Resource Center (SRC), Room 3017 in the College
of DuPage Library.

New Opportunity:
A combined report using both the Strong Interest Inventory and the
Myers-Briggs test results into one report in one meeting. Session
is held in SRC 3017 in the College of DuPage Library.

Participants will need to register for a workshop

Code provided. Early registration is encouraged. Seating is limited.
Fee is $45 each for individual tests, $65 for the combined report.
For more in-depth career decision-making direction, take the 2 credit
hour course, Education 1105, Career Development, taught by College
of DuPage counselors. It will help you focus on integrating career
development into important life choices. Emphasis is given to helping
you learn the skills involved in developing career awareness, making
career decisions and taking career action in a changing work environment.
