Terry
Jackson
A member of the Counseling faculty at College of DuPage since 1994,
Terry Jackson has a master of science degree in education with
an emphasis in counseling in higher education. His master's and bachelor's
degrees were earned at Illinois State University.
Prior to coming to C.O.D., Jackson spent nearly 13 years as a member
of the Counseling faculty at Triton College. In addition, he served
as a counselor for three years at Indiana University-Purdue University
at Indianapolis.
As a counselor, Jackson closely associates his counseling style with
the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach pioneered by Albert
Ellis.
While teaching Education 1105, Career Development, and Education
1110, Interpersonal Skills for Life and Work, he looks for opportunities
to incorporate affective education under the umbrella of Rational
Emotive Behavior Education.
