Meet the Counseling Faculty

Terry Jackson
A member of the Counseling faculty at College of DuPage since 1994, Terry Jackson has a master of science degree in education with an emphasis in counseling in higher education. His master's and bachelor's degrees were earned at Illinois State University.

Prior to coming to C.O.D., Jackson spent nearly 13 years as a member of the Counseling faculty at Triton College. In addition, he served as a counselor for three years at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.

As a counselor, Jackson closely associates his counseling style with the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach pioneered by Albert Ellis. While teaching Education 1105, Career Development, and Education 1110, Interpersonal Skills for Life and Work, he looks for opportunities to incorporate affective education under the umbrella of Rational Emotive Behavior Education.
