Susan Frank
Susan has been a counselor at College of DuPage for the past 15 years.
She has found it rewarding helping people of all ages and backgrounds
work through issues of concern, while having accessibility to so
many valuable resources throughout the college. She noted it has
been especially gratifying receiving a number of personal notes
from
individuals
expressing appreciation for helping them achieve personal goals.
Susan's academic background includes a master of arts counseling
degree from Concordia University, completion of a counseling/psychology
program through the University of Chicago, and a bachelor’s
of arts degree from Loyola University. Work experience has involved
individual and group counseling, teaching Education 105, conducting
a variety of Student Success and Lifestyles Workshops, career consultant
work, career assessment interpretations and life transitional planning.
Accomplishments have included receiving the Outstanding Part-Time
Faculty Award and achieving professional designation as a licensed
clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and a national certified gerontology
counselor.
