Send an Application
for Admission to the Admissions
office with a $20 non-refundable admission/recording fee. Applications
can be downloaded
from this site, found in the back of the Catalog or obtained by contacting
the Admissions office, SRC 2046, (630) 942-2482.
You will receive an acceptance letter and will be assigned a random
PIN, (personal identification number). If you know your PIN, you
may change it by calling (630) 942-3555, press “3”.
If you have submitted an Application for Admission to the Admissions
office, your appointment to register will be based on the date your
application was received in the Admissions office. You will receive
your Appointment to Register letter approximately two weeks prior to
the new student registration period (see Calendar).
You may register later than your appointment time, but not earlier.

Applications are not necessary during Final Registration. New students,
at that time, may call registration or come in person to register for
classes.
Obtain and read printed information such as the Catalog,
Class Schedule and Program
Guides. These materials are available at both on- and off-campus
locations, through the internet, or call the Admissions and Information
Office at (630) 942-2482 or (630) 942-2380 to have them mailed to you.
Take the appropriate pre-course
tests. No special preparation is necessary.
Attend an FYI
Session (for students 23 years and older) or Campus
Visit Days (for students 22 years or younger) to become familiar
with the student support services and resources of the college.
Attend a New Student Advising Session
near your registration appointment time for help in choosing your classes.
To register by Touch-tone or Online,
select your Personal Identification Number (PIN) by calling Touch-tone
registration at (630) 942-3555, press 3. Register
for classes at or soon after your appointment time.
Pay for your classes.
New
Student Advising Assistance
If you will be a new student, special advising opportunities
have been set up to help you plan your classes and answer your questions.
Students can stop by SRC 2044, Counseling, Transfer and Advising Services. No
appointment is necessary; come at a time close to when you will register.
