Scholarships Extend Military Education Benefits
Scholarships can extend the life of military education benefits and ease the burden of college costs. College of DuPage offers over 120 scholarships. Veterans are highly encouraged to apply for Veteran specific and program specific scholarships.
Fast Forward Fellowship: Eligibility forms Feb. 16 to Mar. 23

Tillman Scholar: Deadline 11:59 pm PT March 1 2018
The Tillman Scholar Program unites and empowers remarkable military veterans and spouses as the next generation of public and private sector leaders committed to service beyond self. The fellowship supports Tillman Scholars with academic scholarships, a national network, and professional development opportunities so they are empowered to make an impact in the fields of medicine, law, business, policy, technology, education and the arts. Veterans Expedition & Teambuilding (VET) Scholarship 2018
- Veterans Wilderness Encounter Speech 1120: This is a unique and adventure-based way to meet the Contemporary Life Skills requirement or the speech requirement for the AAS degrees. Explore leadership, teamwork, roles, conflict management, ecological awareness and personal development in the American Southwest. Class dates are May 1, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. and the excursion is May 29 to June 4, 2018. To be considered you must be a veteran of the US Armed Forces or currently serving (status will be verified by Veterans Student Services). Preference will be given to students that are still serving or have separated within the last 10 years. The scholarship covers all travel costs. If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete a scholarship application and submit it to Jose Alferez in the Veterans Services Office.
