Students who live over 50 miles from the Glen Ellyn campus and are enrolled in a COD Online course requiring on-site testing can make arrangements to have their tests administered in an approved testing facility nearby.
Distance Testing instructions for College of DuPage online students and the required Proctor Request Form may be downloaded. It is important that students read the instructions before locating an authorized testing site. They should fill out and sign the Proctor Request Form and take it to the proctor they have chosen. The proctor will fill out and sign their portion of the form and return it via email, U. S. Mail or fax to the Academic Testing Supervisor. All return information is on the form.
Students may be charged a fee for proctoring services at other locations and they may also be responsible for postage fees depending upon the guidelines of that institution.
The Testing Proctor Request Form must be completed no later than two weeks prior to the first exam date and preferably before the start of classes. Additional time may be required if the proctor needs to be approved by the instructor. If a Proctor Request Form is submitted less than two weeks before the first exam date, the College of DuPage Testing Center cannot guarantee the proctor will receive the exam in advance of the testing deadline.
Attention Group Testers
