Biology and Health Sciences Division

College of DuPage offers more than 25 health-related areas of study in four major areas: rehabilitation, diagnostics, medical information and patient care. Most of the college's health programs require a separate admissions process. In addition, students must take several prerequisite courses before being accepted into classroom and clinical education.

Our graduates typically achieve a nearly 100 percent pass rate on applicable board certification exams. They are ready, willing and very prepared to begin their careers in the health care industry.

Specific questions about the application and admission to the various Nursing and Health program(s) can be directed to the Health Programs Admissions Advisor (630) 942-2259 or the Health Programs Admissions Specialist (630) 942-2482. However, it is strongly recommended that you attend the Program Advising session as a first step.

The biological sciences include anatomy and physiology, biology and microbiology. You can take general education requirements or curriculum that leads to transfer to baccalaureate-granting institutions.
