High School Courses for Credit
This summer, advance your high school career, enroll in that band or art class you love but just can't fit in your schedule, or master or make up a needed credit from the previous year. One- and two-semester courses in a variety of subjects are available at several locations.
We also offer online courses in selected subjects such as Algebra. Students will have directed lesson plans and access to a COD instructor during office hours. Mid-term and final exams will be administered at COD's Glen Ellyn campus. Students should check with their high school guidance counselor to assure credit will be granted for these courses.
Summer College at COD prepares students to succeed at the college level, provides support every step of the way and promotes a smooth transition to the first year of college—for less cost per credit hour than four-year schools. Incoming high school juniors, seniors and college freshmen may apply for this selective program, which includes earning college credit and experiencing college life and student services. This condensed five-week course includes academic, enrichment and social programs to get you on the path to a successful future in college.
The Leadership Institute unveils as a premiere leadership program in DuPage County. It offers a variety of programs, including leadership certificates, workshops and leadership conferences for youth and parents.
