Jean has been a licensed massage therapist since 1999, graduating from Wellness and Massage Training Institute. Her modalities include Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, prenatal and geriatric. She also a reiki master/teacher. Reiki is a Japanese healing technique using a hands-on approach to transfer universal energy to a client to provide balance and aid in the healing process. She is also an Ortho-Bionomy™ practitioner. Ortho-Bionomy gently allows muscles and joints to relax. It can be used for releasing muscle and joint restrictions caused by stress, accidents and injuries.
Joe graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1989 and has been involved in the profession for over a quarter of a century. Focusing on sports massage, he has worked with professional and high-profile athletes, as well as with various high school athletic programs. Most recently, he worked in the medical tent at the Bank of America-Chicago Marathon providing relief to the runners who were in need of attention for muscle conditions such as cramping and pulled muscles. Joe has also worked on performers backstage at the World Music Theater in Tinley Park. He has helped to reinstitute the Wellness Clinic Motorola in Schaumburg. Joe's practice also includes other modalities of Swedish, Eselan, acupressure and reflexology.
Mesha has a passion for therapeutic bodywork and holds licenses in both massage therapy and esthetics, graduating from SpaVargas. Having worked in corporate America in the financial services industry, she can relate to the ongoing pressures of deadlines, client relations and managing life-work balance. Pam massages with a creative flair. Through touch, she can tell what your muscles need and uses a variety of techniques to relax them. She works at a gentle pace, which effectively relaxes your body and mind. Pam earned her massage therapy certification from COD, graduating with high honors. She is committed to the massage profession and believes that a great massage is the ultimate "system reboot." She is active in the community including serving as a volunteer massage therapist at the CDH Cancer Center.
Phil became interested in bodywork and healing as a result of over 25 years of involvement in Asian martial arts. Phil specializes in Chinese tui na, with cupping and gua sha, Japanese shiatsu, kiatsu, and Thai massage. He is also a craniosacral therapist and is trained in Swedish, deep tissue massage and reflexology. Phil is an instructor for the COD Massage Therapy program and teaches tai chi and baguazhang.
