About PSTI and the Leadership Excellence and Development Program at College of DuPage
COD's PSTI is to develop partnerships with local government entities and employees to identify challenges and provide comprehensive training and professional development for their ongoing success.
Leadership Excellence and Development (LEAD) Program
The LEAD program is a professional development program offered as part of PSTI College of DuPage. The program focuses on key topics and best practices in public service. The LEAD Program is comprised of the following series:

At the end of the survey, you will receive complimentary access to our first presentation in the Elected Officials Training Series: "10 Best Legal Practices for Elected Officials."
All managers can benefit from additional training to be successful in their roles. This series is tailored for managers and supervisors in local government, with a focus on how to lead a department or team.

Public focus on government effectiveness has placed public sector leaders under enormous pressure to maintain and improve performance, while simultaneously doing more with less. One proven response to this challenge is to improve employee engagement. When public sector employees are engaged and perform well, government effectiveness increases.
