Business Analysis

Business Analysis is a growing field. American employers will need 876,000 business analysis related professionals by 2020.* The Business Analysis program at College of DuPage supports the multi-level, competency-based certification programs of the IIBA and prepares professionals to advance their careers:

  • Junior business analysts will prepare for the Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA®).
  • Mid-career and experienced business analysts will prepare for the Certificate of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA®)  and Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) certification.

Foundation of Business Analysis 
Gain an overview of what business analysis is and what the business analyst does. Improve your business analysis skills and knowledge required in the performance of day-to-day tasks. Explore principles that are integral to all business analysis work, irrespective of project stage. Examine and understand the role of the International Institute of Business Analysis® (IIBA® ) and the Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide). Instructor: Nadine Millner

Advanced Business Analysis
Learn one of the most important skills for a business analyst, requirements analysis and modeling. Receive in-depth instruction on key business analysis deliverables including business case documentation, requirements management planning, requirements analysis and packaging and solution evaluation. Business Analysis Certification Prep Course
Take the next step in your career and work toward certification as a Business Analysis Professional. Understand the role, purpose and structure of BABOK® Guide   as well as underlying competencies necessary to be effective. This one-day course helps you review principles of business analysis in the context of the BABOK® Guide  to prepare for the exam.
