Zinta Konrad, Ph.D
Zinta
Konrad, director of International Education, came to College of DuPage
in 1990. Her background includes a doctorate in African Languages
and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, M.A. degree
in French from Indiana University, and A.B. degree in French from
Douglass College, Rutgers University.
Konrad is trilingual in Latvian, French and English. She lived in
Africa for two and a half years, in Tanzania, Togo and Cameroun.
Her research done in Togo, West Africa, on storytelling as an informal
communication system was published in 1994 by Garland Press as Ewe
Comic Heroes, Trickster Tales in Togo.
