Admissions Requirements
12 semester hours of previous college credit
2.75 GPA

You are eligible to participate in the Canterbury Study Abroad Program if you have completed at least 12 hours of college work and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or better. You must be a full-time student. This study program is offered by C.O.D. in association with the Illinois Consortium for International Studies and Programs (ICISP) and affiliated with Canterbury Christ Church College.

ICISP reserves the right to modify program costs due to drastic changes in the exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and the British pound.

Program fee (approximate):
Fall 2008: $7,160
Spring 2009: $7,160

Included: Room and board ($2,250*), instructional costs ($4,220), course-related field trips ($200), airport transfers to/from Canterbury ($50), advisers' costs (non-refundable $110), ICISP administrative fee (non-refundable $200), orientation materials ($30), mandatory health insurance ($100)

Not included: Home institution's tuition and fees (varies***), noon and evening meals seven days per week ($1,250 to 1,750****), passport ($97), transatlantic transportation ($500-750****), books ($100****), refundable library deposit (campus, $40****), refundable library deposit (town, $40****), personal expenses (i.e., personal travel, etc. #)

*Includes seven continental breakfasts per week with the host family and “use of kitchen.”
**Insurance for students age 50 and older will be higher.

#Personal expenses vary widely depending on any of the student’s personal needs and personal travel not included in the program.

Tuition at College of DuPage is waived. However, a $50 administrative fee payable to College of DuPage is required. For financial aid information, call (630) 942-2251 or go to the Student Resource Center (SRC), Room 2050.
