Costa Rica
Five-week summer program offers total immersion in Costa Rican
culture and intensive Spanish
language at all levels in San José, Costa Rica. Students receive
7 semester credits.
Czech
Republic
Five-week summer program focuses on archaeological explorations
of the Czech past near Premyslovice. Students receive 7 semester credits.
Courses are taught in English.
Japan
Five-week summer program
total immersion in the Japanese language and in the culture of Japan.
Students receive 7 semester credits.
Spain
Five-week summer
program offers total immersion in Spanish culture and intensive Spanish
language at all levels in Madrid, Spain. Students receive 7 semester credits.
Semester and Summer Consortial Programs
ICISP (Illinois Consortium for International Studies
and Programs)
ICISP is
a consortium of 38 community colleges and small liberal arts colleges
that offers study abroad program. Locations include Costa
Rica, Austraila, Austria, China, England, Ireland and Spain.
Costa
Rica
This five-week summer program
is administered by College of DuPage for the ICISP Consortium. Students
from ICISP member colleges receive credit from their institution.
CCIS (College Consortium for International Studies)
CCIS is a consortium of two-
and four-year institutions that offers semester-long and summer study
abroad programs in 30 different countries throughout the world.
C.O.D. students enrolling in these programs receive C.O.D. credit.
Please note, students must enroll through the community college district
where they reside.
Field and Interdisciplinary Studies Programs
Field and
Experiential Learning courses use the world as their classroom. Courses combine
significant classroom content with non-classroom field experiences
in locations throughout seven continents and many sites in the United
States.
Past college courses have provided students with hands-on learning
in more than 53 countries.

Financial aid available to C.O.D. students may be used
