Employment Opportunities

Employment notices for criminal justice-related positions are posted on a bulletin board outside of IC 3039. These notices usually include opportunities in security and law enforcement, including examination notices for police officer positions and cooperative education opportunities. This Bulletin Board is accessible during any hours in which the College is open to the public. Also check with Career Services in SRC 1490 for job opportunities.

Suburban Law Enforcement Academy (SLEA)
SLEA provides the basic 400/480 hour police training to newly hired police officers. In addition, it provides selected continuing education courses for police officers.

Careers in Caring
See how College of DuPage has responded to heightened interest by embracing its key role in providing education and training for police, courts, corrections, the fire industry and nurses.
