The Surgical Technology program is based at 550 E. Washington St., West Chicago. All Surgical Technology courses are taught at the West Chicago facility. Clinical sites vary.

• Enrollment in the Surgical Technology (ST) program is by admission only. Space in the program is limited. Admission to College of DuPage does not guarantee acceptance to the ST program.

• Before applying for admission to the program, it is strongly recommended that candidates attend a Surgical Technology Open House, held at the West Chicago facility in May and August.


• Review Surgical Technology 2008 Important Dates document. Download the 2008 Admissions Packet and follow the instructions. This file is an Adobe PDF that can be viewed and printed with free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.

• Students must also complete an Evaluation Request form. This file is also in PDF format.

The application deadline for the 2008 Class is Sept. 1, 2008. Applications are accepted ALL year long. A $50 application fee must be included with the form. Interviews begin in August with notification of acceptance by Nov. 1.
