Supporting C.O.D. students through many unique and flexible opportunities is at the heart and soul of the division's mission.

Academic Support Center
The Academic Support Center (ASC) offers a variety of ways to help students, whether it's through tutoring services, skills development or assistance in reading, writing, math and speech.

Flexible Learning
Flexible Learning, or Flex, is an alternative to either the traditional classroom setting or online learning. If you are limited by time and place, Flex courses may be for you. These self-directed courses are offered in many subjects. The Center for Independent Learning on the Glen Ellyn campus and the Learning Commons locations in the Bloomingdale, Naperville and Westmont Regional Centers support students in Flex courses. You can turn in your assignments, meet your instructor, use course resources or take your tests on campus or at a Learning Commons near you..

C.O.D. Online
The College of DuPage Online (C.O.D. Online) program offers more than 150 courses in 36 disciplines. A number of certificates and associate degrees can be earned entirely online. With a proper Internet connection, students can access their courses 24/7 from home, a public library or Internet café. Online course credits are listed in the academic transcript in the same manner as those for the classroom-based course, and online certificates and degrees are accredited as those earned in the traditional classroom.

No campus visit is necessary for most online courses. All students (except F-1 visa holders) enjoy the low in-district tuition rate regardless of residency.

The Library
The College of DuPage Library is a high quality teaching library that supports the educational goals and purposes of the college. The Library provides onsite and remote access to resources, instruction and services that support academic and general information needs, diverse cultural interests, intellectual development and professional growth.

Office of Instructional Development
The Office of Instructional Development provides instructional design and development assistance to faculty to enhance their regular classroom courses or develop courses to be offered via distance learning formats.
